7^th    DUBAI Juniors CHESS CHAMPIONSHIP

6^th    To 15^th     July 2008

The Dubai Chess & Culture Club has the pleasure to invite players of your federation to participate in 7^th   DUBAI Juniors CHESS CHAMPIONSHIP which is going to be held in DUBAI United Arab Emirates from     6^th    to 15^th     July 2008.

PARTICIPATION:

 Participation in 7^th DUBAI Juniors CHESS CHAMPIONSHIP only for invited players under 14 years (Boys and Girls) (1994).

1)     The Club will provide only invited players + only one companying person by Visa and accommodation.

2)      Other players may be accepted, but at their own expenses for accommodation during the period of championship in and they will provide with VISA.

3)     All the travel expenses must be paid by the participants or their Federation

4)     Each additional or accompanying person must pay to the organizing committee the amount of 75 ? (Euros) at the moment of the registration (before June 10^th, 2008). This payment is compulsory and represents a confirmation of participation.

5)      TOURNAMENT VENUE:

7^th   DUBAI Juniors CHESS CHAMPIONSHIP will be held in DUBAI from 6^th to 15^th    July 2008 in DUBAI CHESS & CULTURE CLUB.

PLAYING CONDITIONS:

7^th DUBAI Juniors CHESS CHAMPIONSHIP will be played in 9 rounds according to the Swiss System. 1 hour 30 minutes for the whole game with an incremental time of 30 seconds per move from move 1.

DAILY PROGRAMME:

The Chief Arbiter before the beginning of the tournament according to tournament schedule will announce the daily program for the 7^th DUBAI Juniors CHESS CHAMPIONSHIP.

ARBITRATION & COMMITTEE OF APPEAL:

The chief arbiter and the organizing committee will nominate the arbitration team and the Appeal Committee will be selected according to the provisions of FIDE regulation.

PRIZES:

The Organizing Committee will grant the prizes total of which is U.S. $ 10000 as follows:

1^st    place                               U.S. $ 2000

2^nd   place                                U.S. $ 1600

3^rd   place                                U.S. $ 1400

4^th   place                                U.S. $ 1200

5^th   place                                U.S. $ 800

6^th   place                                U.S. $ 600

7^th   place                                U.S. $ 500

8^th   place                                U.S. $ 400

9^th   place                                U.S. $ 300

10^th place                                U.S. $ 200

Special prizes for:

Best result UAE (Boy 250 US$ - Girl 250US$)

Best Dubai chess Club (Boy 250 US$ - Girl 250 US$)

Total U.S. $1000

• If two or more players share the same place, the money will be equally shared. The awarding of the Cup will be decided in case of sharing the first place by the average rating of the 8 strongest opponents who share first place.

HOTEL ACCOMMODATION:

1.                  The personally invited players will be provide with free accommodation in double rooms 3 star hotel (ONLY from 6^th July 2008 12.00 pm to 15^th of July 2008 12.00 noon) and they have to pay the extra nights accommodation expenses before or after these  period , and have to share the room with another player.

2.                  The Dubai Chess & Culture Club will arrange entry visa and hotel booking for the other participants however they have to pay the accommodation expenses during the period of championship in Dubai - United Arab Emirates.

The accommodation charges must be paid in advance. The payment will be done only in UAE Dirham's (AED) 1US$ = 3.675 AED.

Accommodation rate: Although the deadline for booking hotel is 10^th June 2008.
